
Rachel Toberty

About
Ms. Toberty joined Kirk and Toberty as an associate attorney in 2013. She received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia. During her years there she held the position of Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and received the Family Law Award as well as the Professionalism Award.
Ms. Toberty is an adjunct professor of Law at Trinity Law School where she has taught Criminal Law and Family Law. Until recently, Ms. Toberty served on the board for My Refuge House, a non-profit after-care facility for girls rescued from sex-trafficking in Cebu, Philippines; she has assisted and traveled internationally during her tenure on the board.
Ms. Toberty is pursuing an MA in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University and writing a textbook regarding children and the law. She is determined in her convictions towards those vulnerable within communities, at home and abroad.
Personally, Ms. Toberty has been an avid runner and marathoner, appreciates the outdoors and loves to spend time with her close-knit family which includes being an auntie to her three beautiful nieces and nephews.
