J. Douglas Kirk
B.A., J.D., C.F.E.Mr. Kirk received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 1986, where he received awards for Trial Advocacy. Mr. Kirk is a seasoned litigator with more than twenty five years of courtroom experience in business litigation and criminal defense matters. He has extensive trial experience, including more than one hundred bench and jury trials.
David P. Toberty
B.A., J.D.Mr. Toberty received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia in 1990. He was a member of the Regent University Law Review and received the American Jurisprudence Award for achieving the highest academic score in Family Law.
Mr. Toberty has practiced in Southern California since 1991. His practice is focused exclusively in the area of Family Law, including Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Paternity, Mediation, and Stepparent Adoptions. He has also been an adjunct professor of law at Trinity Law School, teaching courses in Family Law, Small Office
Ms. Toberty joined Kirk and Toberty as an associate attorney in 2013. She received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia. She was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and received the Family Law Award as well as the Professionalism Award.
Ms. Toberty is an adjunct professor of Law at Trinity Law School where she has taught Criminal Law and Family Law. Ms. Toberty serves on the board for My Refuge House, a non-profit after-care facility for girls rescued from sex-trafficking in Cebu, Philippines.
